Meet Your Chiropractic Family
At Acorn Chiropractic Club, our goal is to make excellent chiropractic care accessible to families in and around Petaluma. We specialize in providing care for growing families including prenatal, pediatric, and infant chiropractic care. We are all certified in the Webster Chiropractic Technique for pregnant women and have extensive training in pediatric chiropractic care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Dr. Matt Santos, DC
Dr. Matt is a self-proclaimed chiropractic nerd. He is continually reading the latest in chiropractic research, and loves topics such as chiropractic philosophy, neuroplasticity, epigenetics, and human potential. He envisions a world where high quality chiropractic care is readily available to everyone and children are better able to realize their untapped potential.
Dr. Jen Santos, DC, CACCP
Dr. Jen provides gentle and effective chiropractic care for dadas, mamas, and kiddos. She has completed extensive postgraduate training in pediatric and prenatal care and has been awarded the Certification from the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP). She is the only chiropractor in the North Bay to have received this prestigious credential.
Dr. Hannah Layden, DC
Dr. Hannah has completed 3 years of postgraduate work in pediatric and prenatal care outside of chiropractic college. Her thorough training allows her to confidently address the unique needs of each family in our office. She considers this responsibility to be a great honor and she is eager to serve families through chiropractic care.
Dr. Matt Santos, Chiropractor
Dr. Matt is a self-proclaimed chiropractic nerd. He is always reading the latest in research about chiropractic, and loves topics such as chiropractic philosophy, neuroplasticity, epigenetics, human potential. He graduated Summa Cum Luaude from Life Chiropractic College West as salutatorian and received honors for his clinical work in the Life West Health Center. He is continually working to further his knowledge through research and attending chiropractic seminars.
Dr. Matt focuses on maximizing brain development and function through neurologically-based chiropractic care and has had postgraduate training in functional neurology. He also specializes in the Blair Upper Cervical Chiropractic Technique, an advanced technique designed to specifically analyze and correct misalignments in the upper cervical spine (upper neck). He is also certified in the Webster Technique, a chiropractic technique developed specifically for pregnant women.
Dr. Matt is a member of the Blair Chiropractic Society, the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and the Delta Sigma Chi Professional Chiropractic Fraternity.
Dr. Jen Santos, Chiropractor
Dr. Jen provides gentle and effective chiropractic care for dads, mamas, and kiddos. She has completed extensive postgraduate training through the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association). She is also certified in the Webster Chiropractic Technique for pregnant women.
Dr. Jen graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College and then went on to graduate Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science from California State University, Sacramento. She then graduated Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West. Upon graduation she received the Clinical Excellence Award, an award only given to one graduate of that class. She also received the top award in her class graduating with a gold metal in the clinical honors program.
Dr. Jen focuses on the importance of starting chiropractic care as early as possible to enhance neurological development. The youngest baby she has adjusted was 16 minutes old! (The pressure to adjust a baby is the same amount of pressure you would use to check a tomato’s ripeness.)
